Administrator
As an administrator you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth, day to day running of the service.
Role of an Administrator
An administrator’s roles includes:
Completing an introduction to Citizens Advice and training for your role.
Helping with the day to day running of the Citizens Advice service.
Answering the telephone, replying to emails and post.
Ordering stationery.
Typing up letters and reading through documents checking for mistakes.
Printing and scanning documents using a printer.
Updating spreadsheets and databases.
Personal skills/attributes that an administrator needs:
Be friendly and approachable.
Be non-judgemental and respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own.
Have good listening skills.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have good maths and IT skills.
Be able to understand information and explain it to others.
Be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection.
Be willing to undertake training in your role.
